About Andrew Ott

Thank you for the opportunity for me to get better acquainted with you. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and have a combined 30 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and family's. Since 1990 I have worked in direct services, meeting the needs of individuals who have come to me in a variety of settings. I currently have a private practice in Fort Wayne, IN.  I have experience working with children in a before & after school elementary program at St. Joseph’s United Methodist Church – True Care program.  I have worked with kids who have been abused and neglected, and assisted their family’s through skill building, goal setting, and counseling to provide a safe and happy environment that the child can thrive in.  I have also worked with countless teens in middle schools and high schools throughout the Northeast Indiana area via White’s Family Services, adolescents in the Juvenile Probation Program at the Whitley County Sheriff’s Department in Columbia City, IN, and college students at Huntington University and Grace College. I'm extremely experienced with difficult adolescents, and troubled marriages. For several years I have facilitated a social skills group for elementary children and teens on the Autism Spectrum, experiencing social phobia and/or who struggle maintaining peer relationships.

A few of my many interests include spending time with family, theology, traveling, reading, apologetics, mentoring, keeping up on current events, and I am an avid fan of Classic Star Wars.
